It was another nice and sunny day in Bend, OR and my mom had just gotten a job at a youth ranch called Crystal Peaks. We decided to go visit the ranch before she started work that following monday. I remember getting out of the car and being amazed at how beautiful this place was only to walk up the hill and see something even more beautiful than the scenery. Beautiful rescued horses. I reached my hand towards her and she walked away. I remember turning my back to her and her walking closer; looking at me comteplating if I was safe or not. She then turned to me and started to walk towards me. She let me run my hand down her mane and side and then turned into me. I realised at that moment that her and I were going to have a great future with one another and I saw mine and hers relationship develop in my head. Little did I know that I was going to learn something from this horse to....
